Medical Corporation has announced the operating hours of its services during
the Eid Al Adha holiday.
All
emergency departments, the Ambulance Service, and Pediatric Emergency Centres
(for children under 14) will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. The Nesma'ak 16060 call centre and the 16000 Government Healthcare
Hotline will also remain open 24/7.
All
HMC outpatient clinics will be closed from Tuesday, May 26, to Thursday, May
28, and will reopen on Sunday, May 31. Patients with scheduled appointments
during Eid will be contacted if there is any change. The Urgent Consultation Service
and Medication Home Delivery service (both accessed via 16000) will be closed
from May 26 to 28 and will resume on May 31. Patients needing medication during
this period are advised to visit their Primary Health Care pharmacy or the
nearest Emergency Department pharmacy.
The National Mental Health Helpline (accessed via 16000) will be closed during the holiday and reopen on May 30. Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services will operate on limited schedules at Hamad General Hospital and Al Wakra Hospital. The Qatar National Blood Donation Centre will be open on May 26 from 9am to 9pm, closed from May 27 to 29, and open again on May 30 from 9am to 9pm.
