Dubai: An Indian businessman based in Dubai has stepped forward to help fellow Indians who were left stranded as tensions continue in the region. He opened his entire residential building to provide temporary accommodation for those facing travel difficulties.

Yogesh Doshi, the chairman of Al Mizan Group, made his 64-apartment building available for Indians who were unable to return home due to disruptions in travel. The apartments have been offered free of cost so that affected families have a safe place to stay.

The initiative is being carried out with the support of the Indian People’s Forum in the UAE and the Indian Consulate in Dubai, helping authorities arrange accommodation for people who suddenly found themselves without proper lodging.

More than a hundred Indians, including families and children, have already moved into the building. Many of them had been struggling to find affordable accommodation after their travel plans were delayed.

Those staying in the apartments said the help came at the right time, as many were worried about where they would stay while waiting for flights or further instructions.

The businessman’s decision has drawn appreciation from the Indian community in the UAE, with many praising the effort as a timely act of support during a difficult situation.
