In a phone conversation on Saturday, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi and Turkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan condemned the Israeli aggression against Qatar, labeling it a violation of international law and an escalation that could heighten regional tensions and conflict. 

They expressed complete solidarity with Qatar, affirming its security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.

Both ministers highlighted the significance of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit scheduled in Qatar on Monday. The summit aims to form a unified Arab and Islamic response to the ongoing Israeli aggression that threatens regional security and stability.

The discussion also covered recent regional developments, emphasizing the necessity of coordinated efforts to immediately halt Israeli actions in Gaza, reach a prisoner exchange agreement, and ensure the swift and adequate delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which is currently experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis due to the continuing aggression.
