Kuwait City: Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said several electricity generation plants and water desalination facilities were targeted on Monday, marking the fourth consecutive day of attacks blamed on Iran. The ministry said the strikes triggered fires at multiple facilities, raising concerns over the country's critical infrastructure.

In a statement posted on X, the ministry described the incidents as "continued Iranian aggressions" against Kuwait, adding that emergency response teams were immediately deployed to contain the fires and assess the damage. Authorities are working to restore affected facilities while ensuring the stability of electricity and water supplies.

The ministry assured residents that technical teams remain on high alert and are coordinating with relevant authorities to minimise disruptions. It also reiterated its commitment to maintaining essential services and providing updates as the situation develops.
