Doha: LuLu Hypermarket Qatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), has launched National Product Week 2026 under the slogan "From Us, For Us – The Story Begins in Qatar." The campaign aims to encourage consumers to choose locally made products, strengthen the presence of Qatari brands in the retail market and contribute to economic diversification across all LuLu stores in Qatar.

The campaign was inaugurated by Dr Mohamed Ahmed Albohashim Al Sayed, Manager of the National Product Competitiveness Department, and Jassim Al-Kuwari, Assistant Director of the National Product Support Department at MoCI, in the presence of Mr Shaijan, Director of LuLu Hypermarket Qatar, Mr Shanavas, Regional Director, distinguished Qatari guests, ministry representatives and senior LuLu management.

Running until 15 November 2026, the campaign celebrates Qatar's growing production capabilities and creates opportunities for local manufacturers to connect with consumers. Al-Kuwari said last year saw a 75 percent increase in Qatari product sales during National Product Week at one hypermarket, adding that more than 1,000 manufacturers now produce over 2,300 products in Qatar.

Customers can explore Qatari-made products across fresh vegetables, chicken, dairy, frozen foods, bakery items and health and beauty products, with LuLu also showcasing more than 300 private-label products manufactured in Qatar.

The campaign features leading Qatari brands including Baladna, Mazzaraty, Dandy, Al Maha, Qbake, Rawa, Rayyan, Agrico Qatar, Al Wajba, Kitco and Al Waha, among others.

LuLu has also introduced a "Shop & Win" promotion running until 5 December 2026, offering customers who purchase Qatari products worth QR25 or more an electronic raffle coupon. Twenty winners will each receive a LuLu gift voucher worth QR5,000, with the draw scheduled for 17 December at the D-Ring Road branch.
