Doha: The Ministry of Education and
Higher Education has announced the launch of the 18th National Scientific
Research and Innovation Exhibition 2026, in partnership with the Qatar
Research, Development and Innovation Council. The exhibition will take place
from May 12 to 14 at the Qatar National Convention Centre under the theme
"Promising Researchers for Qatar."
More than 2,900 students from 249 public and
private schools will participate, along with over 650 teachers, showcasing over
2,000 research and innovation projects across diverse scientific fields. The
exhibition's activities will include presentations to judging panels,
specialized training workshops, the Academic FameLab competition, and an awards
ceremony.
The exhibition serves as a national platform to support a culture of scientific research and innovation among students, contributing to the development of critical thinking, analysis, and discovery skills. It aligns with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 to build a knowledge-based economy and develop human capital.
