Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has urged students and families to follow essential safety measures while travelling to and from school, stressing that student safety is a shared responsibility.

As part of its back-to-school safety campaign, the Ministry reminded students using school buses to follow these key safety measures:

• Sit in the designated seat throughout the journey.
• Fasten the seat belt and keep it on while travelling.
• Wait until the school bus comes to a complete stop before getting on or off.
• Stay away from the edge of the road while waiting for the bus.
• Pay close attention to moving vehicles when crossing the road.
• Follow all safety instructions while travelling to and from school.
