Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has informed motorists through their social media channels to prioritize safety and adhere to traffic regulations around school zones, especially during student drop-off and pick-up times.

Ashghal emphasized the importance of stopping and refrain from trespassing school buses while embarking and disembarking children to ensure children's safety.

The authority also advised drivers against blocking crosswalks while picking up children. Ashghal also urged to ensure that children cross the road using the designated crosswalks.

Furthermore, Ashghal called on motorists to park only in designated areas and to strictly observe traffic signals and the 30 km/h speed limit within school zones.
