The School Health Program and Services at the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) is set to launch its 2026-2027 Back-to-School campaign under the slogan “Healthy Bodies Build Strong Nations.”
Running from August 30 to September 10, the initiative will span all public schools and kindergartens, aiming to instill sustainable healthy behaviors in students while emphasizing health as a critical component of a productive society and Qatar’s vision for sustainable human development.
The campaign will address priority health areas, such as promoting healthy sleep habits, reducing excessive electronic device use, encouraging water consumption, advocating for healthy nutrition and physical activity, and fostering self-regulation and personal responsibility. It will also support mental and emotional health and promote positive social behaviors within the school environment.
This year's campaign incorporates practical strategies, utilizing weekly tracking cards and self-assessment tools to help students monitor and improve their daily habits, transforming health-focused messages into lasting practices. The campaign extends beyond students, engaging parents, teachers, and nursing staff as essential partners in supporting and reinforcing healthy behaviors both at school and at home.
