Doha: Parakkal Abdullah MLA has assured that the long-standing issues faced by the expatriate community will be brought to the attention of the government and that every effort will be made to find effective solutions. Addressing the 'Celebrating Kuttiady' cultural night organised by KMCC Qatar Kuttiady Constituency, Abdullah said his years of living in Qatar have given him firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by expatriates. As Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Subject Committee on Expatriate Welfare, he pledged to work actively towards resolving these issues.

The event marked Parakkal Abdullah's first visit to Qatar after being re-elected for a second consecutive term as MLA from the Kuttiady constituency. Held at Podar Pearl School, Al Wakrah, the programme was organised with Safari Hypermarket and Reyada Medical Center as the main sponsors. Muslim League National Vice President Zainul Abideen Safari inaugurated the function, while KMCC Qatar Kuttiady Mandal President N.P. Abdul Gafoor presided over the event.
Greetings were extended by KMCC Qatar State General Secretary Salim Thalakath, Vice President Raheem Pakkanji, Advisory Committee Vice Chairman S.A.M. Basheer, Welcome Group Chairman Ajmal Nabeel, INCAS President Sidheeque Purayil, and KMCC Qatar Kozhikode District President T.T. Kunjhammad. Welcome committee office bearers Athiq Rahman, Faisal Aroma, and Salman Elayadam honoured Parakkal Abdullah, while Siraj Mathoth, Firdous Maniyur, and Shabeer Memunda felicitated the sponsors. Ilyas Master presented a token of affection to Kuttiady Ayanjery Panchayat President Thayyil Asya Teacher.
The cultural evening featured a lively musical performance by Qatar-based artists, including Riyaz Kariyad, Hamdan, Farzana Abdul Nasser, Hiba, Nainika, and tabla artist Ashkar. The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sahwa Salman, followed by a welcome address from KMCC Qatar Kuttiady Mandal General Secretary Abdul Samad Kadameri and a vote of thanks by Secretary Ubaidullah Kuyyana. Office bearers Marzook Shareef Dar, Althaf Maniyur, Sharif Nittoor, Mustafa Muthu, Mirash Kunnummal, and Naushad Thannani coordinated the event.
