Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (Qatar) has clarified that the National Warning System in Qatar is activated only during urgent situations that require immediate precautionary measures to ensure public safety.

According to the ministry, these alerts are issued to quickly inform residents about emergencies and to provide clear safety instructions that must be followed carefully.

Authorities urged the public to remain calm and follow the instructions in the alerts, such as staying in safe areas inside buildings, avoiding windows and open spaces, and not going outside until authorities confirm that the security threat has been eliminated.

The Ministry of Interior (Qatar) said the system helps protect residents and ensures effective communication during emergencies.
