Doha: Qatar's real estate trading volume exceeded
QR508 million during the week from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1, according to the weekly
bulletin issued by the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry
of Justice.
The volume of
real estate trading through registered sale contracts reached QR464,182,516,
while sales contracts for residential units totaled QR44,086,614 during the
same period, bringing the overall weekly trading volume to QR508.269 million.
The properties
traded included vacant land, houses, residential buildings, commercial
buildings, administrative buildings, shops and residential units.
Sales activity
was concentrated in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakra, Umm Slal,
Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Al Shamal and Al Sheehaniya, as well as
Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Wukair, Al Kharayej, Legtaifiya, Al Gharrafa
and Al Sakhama.
Real estate
