Doha: Qatar Tec has been honored with the prestigious Hempelpaint Silver Tier Category Achiever Award for 2024. The company’s Managing Director, Jebi K John, received the award at a ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The award was presented by Jacob Kuruvilla, Trade Director of Hempelpaint Middle East, and Shiju Varghese, Trade Manager for Oman. The event was attended by several dignitaries including Hariprasad Madhavan (Regional Trade Support Manager), Zohir (Kuwait Trade Manager), and Muhammad Aba Char (Jeddah Trade Manager), among others.

Founded in 2008, Qatar Tec has established itself as a key player in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Construction industries. The company supplies a wide range of oil field products and building materials, while also offering professional manpower outsourcing services. This includes providing qualified engineers, specialized technicians, and skilled labor for various industrial sectors across Qatar.

Jebi K John, who hails from the Kolkunnel family of Piramadam in Pampakuda Panchayat, Muvattupuzha, Kerala, is widely recognized for his philanthropic contributions, receiving numerous accolades both in the Gulf region and back home in India.
