Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Environment and Climate
Change (MECC) has confirmed that radiation levels in the country’s air and
territorial waters are within normal and safe limits.
The ministry said the readings recorded so far do
not show any signs of concern, indicating that the situation remains stable.
In a statement shared on its official X platform,
MECC said it is closely monitoring regional developments through its national
radiological systems, which operate continuously.
The ministry also stated that it is fully prepared
to respond to any developments if required, in coordination with relevant
authorities in the country.
Officials urged the public to rely only on
information from official sources and avoid sharing unverified updates.
