Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has called on the public to follow precautionary measures while organising or attending social events such as weddings and condolence gatherings.

The ministry advised that such events should be conducted in indoor halls or closed venues, instead of tents or open spaces, to reduce possible risks.

Officials also reminded people to strictly follow the instructions issued by authorities and avoid any behaviour that could affect public safety.

The ministry said cooperation from the public is important to maintain safety and stability, especially during gatherings where large numbers of people are present.

Authorities also urged everyone to act responsibly and follow the guidelines to ensure that social events are held in a safe and controlled manner.
