Doha: HH Consort of HH the Amir Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani patronised the graduation ceremony of the 49th cohort of Qatar University, marking a major academic milestone for the institution.

The
ceremony, held at the university’s Sports and Events Complex, celebrated the
achievements of 3,122 female graduates across undergraduate and postgraduate
programmes, reflecting the growing strength of higher education in Qatar.
During
the event, 525 outstanding students were honoured for their academic
excellence. Degrees were formally conferred by Qatar University President Dr
Omar Al Ansari, while speeches were delivered by university leadership and
graduate representative Majd Jaber Al Marri.
The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries, including sheikhs, ministers, board members, academic officials and families. The occasion highlighted Qatar University’s continued commitment to academic excellence and its role in preparing future leaders aligned with the country’s development vision.
