Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has affirmed that Qatar's social cohesion and the readiness of its state institutions enabled an efficient and responsible response to crises, praising the resilience and solidarity shown by citizens and residents during challenging times.

In remarks delivered during his visit to the Civil Defence Council, His Highness emphasised that national unity and institutional preparedness are fundamental pillars of the country's ability to manage emergencies and protect society.

HH the Amir highlighted the importance of continued investment in national capabilities, training, and coordination between relevant entities to ensure the highest standards of public safety. He also praised the efforts of civil defence personnel and their dedication to protecting lives and property, stressing that their readiness reflects the strength of Qatar's institutional framework.
