Doha: Students India Qatar (SIQ), a prominent student organization in Qatar, has announced its new central leadership team for the 2026-2027 working period. The newly elected office bearers officially assumed charge during the election meeting held at the CIC Hall in Doha.
Fadil
Anwar was elected as the President, while Adil Mansoor assumed the role of
General Secretary. Aman Shaheen and Raihan Siddiq were elected as Vice
Presidents, and Adam Melethil was chosen as the Joint Secretary.
The
organization also appointed conveners for various departments. Muhammad Zaki
was elected as Sports Convener, Ibrahim Safar as Media Convener, Irfan Yaseen
as Service Convener, Ayan as Tarbiyah Convener, and Ihsan Muhammad as Arts
Convener.
Representatives
and office bearers from various SIQ local units across Qatar participated in
the election gathering. CIC President R.S. Abdul Jaleel and Riyaz T. Razak
addressed the students and interacted with the participants.
Nabeel
Puthur and Anas Edavanna led the ice-breaking session, while Fadil Anwar
conducted the Quran class. The election procedures were overseen by Shameem
Issudheen and Safeer K. Senior members including Shukoor A.M. and Samad Kodinhi
also guided the sessions and activities.
The
newly elected committee expressed its commitment to strengthening student
engagement, leadership development, and community-oriented activities among
Indian students in Qatar.
