Doha, Qatar: Web Summit Qatar is set to solidify its status as the region's leading technology conference as it gears up for its second edition in 2025. The event, scheduled to take place from February 23 to 26 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center, is expected to draw approximately 35,000 attendees, with 60% hailing from local communities.


Officials announced at a press conference yesterday that the upcoming summit will feature 1,500 startups, including 200 from Qatar, highlighting the nation’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, investor participation has surged by 50% compared to last year, showcasing a robust interest in the region's tech potential.


The inaugural Middle East edition of the Web Summit took place in 2024, attracting 15,453 participants from 118 countries. As anticipation builds for the 2025 event, Web Summit Qatar promises to be a vital platform for tech entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry leaders to connect and collaborate on the future of technology.
