The Gaza Center for Human Rights has reported 129 Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began on October 10, resulting in 34 Palestinian fatalities and 122 injuries.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Center drew attention to a particularly tragic event in Al-Zeitoun, where Israeli forces targeted a civilian vehicle, leading to the deaths of 11 family members, including seven children and two women.
The organization condemned this assault as a breach of international law and a continuation of what it termed Israel's lethal policies against civilians.
The Center criticized the attack on the civilian vehicle, asserting that Israeli forces possess surveillance capabilities to evaluate threats, suggesting their actions were unnecessary. It called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and emphasized the need for accountability under international law to safeguard civilians.
Though a ceasefire commenced last week as part of President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace initiative, Israeli forces continue to conduct airstrikes and open fire on Palestinians returning to check on their homes.
