The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Kinshasa on a state visit to the friendly Democratic Republic of Congo. Upon arrival at N’djili International Airport, HH the Amir was received by President HE Felix Tshisekedi, along with senior officials including Senate President HE Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, National Assembly President HE Aime Boji Sangara, and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Therese Kayikwamba Wagner.

The welcome ceremony also saw the presence of Kinshasa Governor HE Daniel Bumba Lubaki, Commander of the 14th military region Major-General HE Kizimu Mbuyu Stasin, the Congolese Ambassador to Qatar HE Valerie Lusamba Kabeya, other government officials, and members of the Qatari Embassy.
