Qatar-based executives shine in Forbes Middle East's Top 100 CEOs list

Doha, Qatar: In a testament to Qatar's leadership in business innovation and growth, ten executives from the nation have been named in Forbes Middle East's prestigious fifth annual list of the Top 100 CEOs. Released on November 18, 2025, the rankings celebrate leaders spearheading initiatives toward innovation, diversification, and global relevance.


Notably, HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, secured the fifth position, while QNB Group CEO Abdulla Mubarak A-Khalifa was ranked ninth.


Other distinguished Qatari executives include Ooredoo Group CEO Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo (Rank 38), Doha Bank Group CEO Abdulrahman Bin Fahad Al-Thani (Rank 58), and Qatar Financial Centre CEO Yousuf Al-Jaida (Rank 62). Additionally, Qatar Islamic Bank Group CEO Bassel Gamal (Rank 64), Qatar Insurance Group CEO Salem Al Mannai (Rank 68), Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) CEO Abdullah Al-Sulaiti (Rank 75), Qatar Free Zones Authority CEO Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani (Rank 81), and Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company CEO and MD Tarek M El Sayed (Rank 84) were honored in the list.
