Doha, Qatar: The National Planning Council (NPC) hosted the “National Development Forum: Social Development Pillar” under the theme “Sustaining Prosperity in Qatari Society.” The discussions focused on strengthening family cohesion, preserving cultural identity, enhancing social integration, and boosting cultural and social tourism as vital pillars of the nation’s progress.
The
forum featured key leaders, including HE Minister of Social Development and
Family Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr al-Nuaimi, HE Minister of Culture Sheikh
Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani, HE Minister of Public Health Mansoor bin
Ebrahim al Mahmoud, and HE Qatar Tourism Chairman Saad bin Ali al-Kharji, who
emphasized that national development goes beyond economics to the wellbeing of
society.

Secretary-General Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak al-Khalifa reaffirmed
that Qatar National Vision 2030 places families at the core of sustainable
development, stressing ongoing efforts to enhance family support, health,
wellbeing, and cultural participation across the country.
