Doha, Qatar: Qatar is set to host the seventh edition of the Global Security Forum, scheduled from April 28 to April 30 at the Raffles and Fairmont - Katara Towers in Lusail City.
This distinguished event, held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will center around the theme "The Impact of Non-State Actors on Global Security."
The forum will bring together world leaders, senior government officials, security professionals, distinguished academics, and representatives from civil society to assess the increasing influence of non-state entities on global peace and stability. As the international security landscape continuously evolves, discussions will focus on how groups such as transnational terrorist organizations, private military firms, criminal syndicates, and digital disruptors are posing challenges to established state-based security frameworks and altering geopolitical dynamics.
Confirmed participants include ministers, national security advisers, intelligence officials, widely recognized experts, senior academics, and notable media personalities from around the globe.
