Doha, Qatar: The Syro-Malabar Cultural Association (SMCA) Qatar is celebrating its Silver Jubilee in 2025, marking 25 years of excellence in artistic, sports, cultural, social, and charitable activities. Since its inception, SMCA has played a vital role in promoting community welfare through various initiatives in arts, sports, education, and healthcare. As part of the grand celebrations, the organization has announced the launch of new projects and programs aimed at further enhancing societal development and nurturing talents among its members.
The highlight of the Silver Jubilee celebrations will
be "Silver Beats," a mega event scheduled for Thursday evening, May
8, 2025, at the QNCC Exhibition Hall. The event will feature the popular
Malayalam film star Nivin Pauly as the special guest, adding glamour and
excitement for movie lovers and youth alike. The musical segment will showcase
performances by the renowned Bennett Band, led by celebrated playback singer
Shweta Mohan, and "Nj Live," led by famous actor and singer Neeraj
Madhav, making his first musical performance in Doha. Together, they promise an
unforgettable musical extravaganza for art and music enthusiasts.
The SMCA leadership emphasized that this jubilee year
would not only be a celebration of past achievements but also a new beginning,
with plans to implement larger and more impactful charitable projects. Building
on its strong history of community service, SMCA will initiate extensive
charitable programs and organize educational and healthcare seminars featuring
experts, aiming to introduce innovative models to benefit society. General
Secretary Ajo Antony reiterated SMCA’s commitment to advancing services in
education, healthcare, and welfare in collaboration with major Indian community
organizations under the Indian Embassy, including ICC, ICBF, and ISC.

Elavathinkal announced that "Silver Beats," led by two of the
brightest new-generation playback singers along with star guest Nivin Pauly,
would be a grand visual and musical feast for Doha’s art and music lovers. The
organization extended a warm invitation to all music fans, as well as media
representatives, to join in the celebrations. The press meet was attended by
SMCA office bearers and executive members, with Vice President Jito James
delivering the vote of thanks.
