Doha, Qatar: Engineers Forum Qatar (EF), an associated organization under the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC), has officially announced the formation of its new Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term. The newly elected team will spearhead the forum’s initiatives focused on professional excellence, innovation, and strengthening Indo–Qatar collaboration through impactful community engagement.
The
Executive Committee will be led by President
Ashique Ahmed, supported by General
Secretary Nidhin Otheni Chalil and Treasurer Shamnad Shamsudeen. The leadership team also includes Munwar Malique, serving as Vice President
– Membership & Community Engagement, and Nikhil Dev P V, Vice President – Finance. In addition, the
committee comprises office bearers and associates overseeing technical
activities, arts and cultural programmes, sports initiatives, and governance
and communications, ensuring a well-rounded approach to EF’s expanding
portfolio.
For
the 2026–2028 term, EF has outlined a forward-looking roadmap that prioritises
a comprehensive digitization drive, enhanced member development initiatives,
and the expansion of technical, arts, and sports programmes. The forum also
plans to deepen partnerships and strengthen its CSR and community engagement
efforts.
Marking a significant milestone, EF celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year, commemorating 25 years since its establishment in 2001. The committee is preparing a series of innovative programmes and community-wide initiatives to honour the occasion, reflecting the forum’s enduring legacy and its continued role as a dynamic and influential platform for engineers in Qatar.
