Doha: The Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, is carrying out its awareness campaign titled 'A Safe Environment in Every Home.' Targeting parents and guardians, the campaign aims to promote safe and violence-free home environments based on dialogue, support, and psychological well-being.

AMAN stated that the initiative stems from its preventive approach, which seeks to raise awareness of family safety, positive parenting, and child protection, providing practical tools for dealing with psychological pressures within the home. Acting Executive Director Fadal Al Kaabi highlighted AMAN's conviction that the family unit is the first line of defense in protecting society, adding that fostering a safe home environment begins with awareness and empowerment.

The campaign aims to enhance family awareness of essential skills needed to build strong and cohesive relationships among family members based on dialogue and mutual respect. Al Kaabi affirmed AMAN's commitment to expanding the reach of these awareness programs through partnerships with various entities, including the Ministry of Endowments, Lusail University, the General Authority for Minors' Affairs, the Qatar National Library, and Katara.

More than 400 people benefited from these awareness workshops during the second quarter of 2026. Director of the Community Awareness Department Bakhita Al Ghayathin said the activities allow AMAN to engage directly with families and provide practical, interactive educational content that promotes dialogue and reduces negative behaviors at home.
