Doha: Minister
of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani
inaugurated the 22nd edition of Project Qatar 2026 on Tuesday at the Doha
Exhibition and Convention Center.
Following
the inauguration, the minister toured the exhibition pavilions, where he was
briefed on the latest products, technologies, and innovative solutions in
building, construction, and infrastructure being showcased by local and
international companies. He commended the exhibition for providing a platform
that brings together investors, companies, and entrepreneurs, supporting
economic diversification and the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The
exhibition, held under the theme "Manufacture, Build, Innovate," runs
from June 9 to 11, 2026, and brings together 145 exhibitors - including 120
local companies and 25 international firms - representing sectors related to
construction, building materials, industrial technologies, energy, engineering
services, smart city solutions, and sustainable infrastructure.
Ashghal Technical Office Director Eng. Khalid Al Najjar said: "Ashghal's participation as Strategic Partner reflects its leading role in shaping the development landscape and advancing infrastructure projects. The exhibition serves as an ideal platform to showcase our innovative solutions and digital applications, underscoring our commitment to operational efficiency and global sustainability standards."
