Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has cleared around 85% of rainwater accumulation complaints reported across the country following recent heavy rainfall, with efforts ongoing to resolve the remaining cases.

Ashghal confirmed that its teams are working round the clock, deploying tankers, mobile pumps, and technical crews to drain water and ensure smooth traffic movement in affected areas.

The authority added that its emergency teams continue to monitor conditions closely in coordination with relevant agencies, while urging motorists to drive cautiously and report water accumulation through official channels.
