Doha, Qatar: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Lusail Palace to discuss regional and international developments, including Iranian aggression against Qatar and the ongoing Ukrainian crisis.

President Zelenskyy reiterated Ukraine's solidarity with Qatar, condemning the Iranian aggression and affirming support for measures taken by Qatar to protect its sovereignty and security.

Both leaders stressed the urgent need for an immediate cessation of military actions that could expand conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, warning of repercussions on regional and international security. They emphasized intensifying diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.

The meeting also reviewed bilateral cooperation, particularly in technology, security, defense, and energy, aiming to strengthen partnership between the two countries.

The talks were attended by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with senior officials from both sides. Following the meeting, the Amir hosted a luncheon in honor of the Ukrainian President and his delegation.
