Doha: Students from Brilliant Qatar have delivered an impressive performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026, with Sruthi Lakshmi A. P. emerging as the Qatar topper. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET UG 2026 results, bringing to a close the anticipation of nearly 20 lakh medical aspirants from India and abroad. This year's examination witnessed intense competition, with only 19 candidates scoring above 700 marks and the highest score of 715 out of 720 being jointly secured by Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana.

Among overseas candidates, Sankalp Sandeep Naik of JSS Private School, Dubai, topped the Outside India category with 650 marks and an All India Rank (AIR) of 1,398. In Qatar, Sruthi Lakshmi A. P., a student of MES Indian School, Abu Hamour Branch (MESIS), and the Brilliant Qatar Integrated Program, secured 639 out of 720 marks, achieving AIR 2,395 and Category Rank 871 to emerge as the country's top NEET performer from Qatar.

Adding to her achievements, Sruthi also emerged as the CBSE Qatar Science Stream Topper, scoring an outstanding 99.4% (497/500) in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination. Another high achiever from Brilliant Qatar, Saad Ahmed, a student of Bhavans Public School and the Brilliant Qatar Exclusive NEET Batch, secured 587 out of 720 marks in NEET, earning AIR 15,015. He also achieved a 97 percentile in JEE Main and 97% in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination.

Based on their performance, both students are expected to have strong opportunities to secure MBBS admissions at leading government medical colleges in India, subject to the counselling and seat allocation process. Notably, both Sruthi and Saad cleared NEET in their very first attempt while simultaneously preparing for their CBSE Class XII Board examinations. They began their NEET preparation only after entering Class XI, without any foundation coaching up to Class X.
