Qatar:
Minister of Education and Higher Education, HE Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed
Al Khater, visited Qatar Academy Al Khor (QAK), where she was received by
Director General Dr. Aisha Al Muqbali and the school's leadership team. The
visit emphasized the academy's commitment to combining high academic standards
with a focus on cultural identity and student values.
During
her tour, Her Excellency observed classroom sessions and engaged with students
to learn about their learning experiences. The visit included a student-led
musical performance and a traditional scout welcome. Minister Al Khater was
also briefed on the academy's teaching methodologies, which prioritize critical
thinking, creative problem-solving, and active learning.
Part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, Qatar Academy Al Khor serves over 1,200 students from kindergarten to Grade 12. The academy delivers an international curriculum in both Arabic and English and holds multiple international accreditations, further solidifying its role as a key educational institution in the region.
