Doha, Qatar: The Amiri Diwan has announced that the funeral prayer for the late Father Amir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, will take place today, Sunday, July 12, after the Maghrib prayer at the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque. Following the prayer, his body will be laid to rest in Lusail Cemetery.
Additionally, the Amiri Diwan stated that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will receive mourners, including heads of state, members of the Ruling Family, dignitaries, and citizens, at Lusail Palace.
The schedule for receiving mourners; Morning period:- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (13, 14, 15 July 2026) from 8am to 11:30 am.
Evening period:- Asr prayer until Isha prayer.
