HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on a fraternal visit. Earlier in the day, HH the Amir departed from Doha heading to the UAE capital.

Upon arrival at Al Bateen Airport, HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were received by HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Also present to welcome HH the Amir were HH Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and HH Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The reception also included HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HE Adviser to HH the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nahyan; and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE Dr. Sultan Salmeen Al Mansouri, along with a number of senior officials.

HH the Amir is accompanied during the visit by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of Their Excellencies the Sheikhs.
