Doha, Qatar: Visit Qatar, in partnership with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and the Qatar Triathlon Federation, has announced the opening of registrations for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final 2026, scheduled to take place on December 11–12 in Qatar.
Following
the success of its 2025 debut, which attracted thousands of participants and
global attention, the upcoming edition invites triathletes of all levels to
compete in one of Qatar’s premier international sporting events. Athletes can
choose between the 100km race - featuring a 2km swim, 80km cycle, and 18km run -
or the Sprint Distance triathlon comprising a 750m swim, 20km cycle, and 5km
run.
Top 10 finishers in each age-group category from the 2025 edition will receive invitations to compete in the 2026 T100 Age Group World Championship Finals. Among the returning athletes is Qatari triathlete Alya Al-Hamad, who secured fourth place in the 25–29 female category last December, highlighting Qatar’s growing presence on the global triathlon stage.
