Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received the credentials of six new ambassadors to the State of Qatar at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.

The ambassadors included HE Ambassador of Sweden Josefin Simonsson Broden, HE Ambassador of the European Union Antonino Maggiore, HE Ambassador of Russia Artem Kozhin, HE Ambassador of the Czech Republic Marta Huskova, HE Ambassador of Thailand Pensom Lertsithichai, and HE Ambassador of India Dr. K. Srikar Reddy.

HH the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their duties, expressing hope that bilateral relations between Qatar and their respective countries would continue to progress and prosper. The ambassadors conveyed greetings from their countries’ leaders and wished continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.

The ambassadors were accorded an official reception ceremony upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
