Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has
urged the public to dispose of recyclable plastic bottles in designated blue
bins, highlighting how proper waste sorting can transform discarded packaging
into valuable resources for new production cycles.
In a message marking World Cleanup Day, the
ministry encouraged individuals to view plastic containers not as waste but as
materials that can be recovered and reused through recycling. "Have you
imagined that your plastic bottles could return to school in a different
form?" the ministry asked, drawing attention to the possibility of
recycled plastic being transformed into new products, including items used in
educational environments.
It called on residents to place recyclable plastic bottles in blue recycling containers, giving them "a chance for a new beginning."
