The Ministry of Interior reported that an internal explosion occurred at one of the factories in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area on Sunday, following a technical incident. Civil defence teams were immediately deployed to the site to manage the situation and ensure safety.
According to the MoI, the incident did not result in any injuries or hazardous leaks that could pose a risk to public safety.
