Talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad ended without a final agreement after more than 20 hours of discussions, as both sides failed to bridge key differences on major issues.
According
to Tasnim News Agency, Iran’s Foreign
Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said the
two sides “reached an understanding on a number of issues,” but still had
“differences of opinion on two to three important matters.”
Despite the setback, Baqaei emphasised that diplomacy will continue, stressing that dialogue remains essential to protect national interests. He highlighted that ongoing engagement keeps the path open for future progress, reflecting a continued commitment to peaceful solutions and regional stability.
