Tehran has strongly responded to comments by Donald Trump, stating that Iran-not the United States-will determine when the ongoing conflict comes to an end. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the future of the region and the outcome of the war are now in the hands of Iranian forces.

Trump earlier suggested that the conflict could be short-lived but warned that the United States would respond strongly if Iran disrupts global oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global energy shipments.

The conflict has already affected global oil markets and raised international concern, with discussions involving world leaders including Vladimir Putin on possible diplomatic solutions.
