Iran has urged people in the United Arab Emirates
to stay away from port areas, warning that these locations could become
potential targets as tensions continue to rise in the region.
According to reports, Iranian officials described
certain port facilities as “legitimate targets” due to their strategic
importance and their connection to military and logistical activities linked to
the ongoing conflict.
The warning reportedly mentioned major ports in
the UAE that play a key role in shipping and energy trade across the Gulf.
These ports are among the busiest in the region and handle large volumes of
cargo and oil shipments.
The statement comes at a time when tensions
between Iran, Israel and the United States remain high, raising concerns about
the safety of critical infrastructure and maritime routes in the Gulf.
Authorities in the region are closely monitoring
the situation as fears grow that the conflict could affect trade, shipping
operations and energy supplies passing through the area.
