M.E.S Indian School celebrates golden jubilee batch graduation in grand ceremony

Doha: M.E.S Indian School hosted a glittering graduation ceremony on January 2, 2025, at the Conference Hall to honour 561 Class XII students of the golden batch (2024-25). The event, marked by jubilation and nostalgia, celebrated the culmination of the students’ school journey. Chief Guest Dr. Najeeb K P, President Officiating of the M.E.S Governing Board, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to be ambitious, discerning, and resilient as they step into the diverse paths of life.


The ceremony featured the recognition of excellence, with directors and members of the school governing board presenting certificates and mementoes to students for their outstanding achievements. Best outgoing students in the Boys’ and Girls’ Sections were awarded in Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Additionally, accolades for all-round performance, talent, sports, and contributions to school activities were conferred on students, showcasing the wide array of talent within the batch.


Special awards included titles such as Best All-Rounder, Talent of the Year, Best Sports Talent, and Best Scout and Guide. Highlights included the Best Outgoing Prefect awards for Master Ahmad Faisal and Miss Steffi Vargheese Mathew, and Best Band Leader awards for Master Kevin Saji and Miss Jazaa Jasmin. These recognitions emphasized the school’s commitment to fostering holistic development.


In her heartfelt address, Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the students and inspired them to carry forward the ideals of sincerity, honesty, and perseverance as they pursue future endeavors. Coordinator D.A.S. Rex delivered a speech on behalf of the teaching fraternity, and student representatives Aryan Unnikrishnan and Onaisa Rashid expressed their gratitude to the school, reflecting on the cherished memories and life lessons gained at M.E.S.


The ceremony also featured cultural performances, including a medley of songs and dances that brought an emotional and nostalgic touch to the evening. The event concluded with a warm welcome by Asst. Head Girl Miss Hadiya and a vote of thanks by Asst. Head Boy Master Mohamad Kamal Ali Badran, in the presence of M.E.S Governing Board members, school officials, teachers, and parents.
