M.E.S. retains prestigious Diamond Award, setting benchmark for consecutive years

Doha: M.E.S. Indian School has once again attained the highest distinction conferred upon educational institutions by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, receiving the Diamond Category Award for the academic year 2025–2026 under the flagship project "My Values Define My Identity." This marks the consecutive year of this achievement.


The school emerged among the top-performing institutions selected from more than 350 schools across Qatar, recognised for its exemplary execution of the project through five key initiatives: Aseel, Brotherhood, Safe Sailing, Fit-rah, and My Well-being is a Trust. The school achieved 100 percent implementation of all mandated activities.


Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar, along with process owners, received the certificate during the closing ceremony at the ministry's headquarters on June 3, 2026. "This accomplishment reflects the collective dedication of our educators, students, and coordinators who have worked tirelessly to translate vision into meaningful action," she remarked. Master Mohammed Muaaz of Class XI, the Student Ambassador representative of the project, was also honoured and delivered an address highlighting the impact of the initiative.

The project was coordinated under the leadership of Mr. Usman Mayyeri, Head of the Department of Arabic, Urdu, and Islamic Studies, along with section coordinators Ms. Nazia Zahoor, Ms. Sumitha Nasser, Ms. Shaheen, Ms. Farhana Nazeer, Ms. Limy Mol, Ms. Nazima Ali, and Ms. Rahna Nazir. The school management lauded the entire team for their exemplary commitment and pursuit of excellence.
