Doha: The
Qatar Aeronautical Academy has announced the opening of registration for its
upcoming academic semester, offering students the opportunity to enrol in
specialised aviation-related programmes. Registration will be open from June 14
to July 30, 2026, and applications must be submitted in person at the Admission
and Registration Building of the Academy.
The
academy is accepting applications for four programmes: Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering, Air Traffic Control, Meteorology, and Airport Operations
Management. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their ID card and
passport, a copy of their guardian's ID card or passport, four passport-sized
photographs with a blue background, and a non-refundable fee of QR300 for
registration and placement tests.
For
students residing in Qatar, applicants must have obtained a high school
certificate or its equivalent with a minimum score of 70 percent, depending on
the programme. Final-year students expecting to graduate in the same year may
also apply, provided they submit proof of graduation by the specified deadline
along with their first-semester academic certificate.
International students must provide certified copies of their Grade 6, 9, and 12 certificates, authenticated by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Qatari Embassy in their home country to facilitate the student visa process. They are also required to submit a police clearance certificate certified by the relevant authorities and the Qatari Embassy. Prospective students can access registration requirements and additional information through the academy's official website.
