Doha: Shantiniketan Indian School proudly showcased exceptional sporting excellence at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Football Competition 2026–27, held at MES Indian School from May 10 to May 14, 2026. A total of 72 students represented the school across four categories - Under 14 Boys, Under 17 Boys, Under 19 Boys, and Under 17 Girls.
The
tournament became a remarkable milestone for SIS with outstanding performances
from the boys' teams. The Under 19 Boys Football Team emerged as Champions,
securing first position, while the Under 17 Boys Football Team earned third
position and brought home the Bronze Medal.
Adding
to this glorious achievement, Shantiniketan Indian School was awarded the Overall
Championship Trophy in the Boys Category, reflecting the students' dedication,
teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The Department of Physical Education extended heartfelt gratitude to the school management for their constant support and encouragement in promoting sporting excellence and inspiring students to achieve greater heights.
