Doha: DPS Modern Indian School conducted its Junior School Investiture Ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in the school auditorium, formally investing the newly elected Grade V student council members with leadership responsibilities.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Shinu George, Corporate Relations Officer of DPS Group of Institutions, who encouraged the young leaders to serve with confidence, integrity, and compassion. Senior Principal Ms. Asna Nafees inspired the students to lead with discipline, humility, and responsibility. The ceremony was also attended by Senior Vice Principal Ms. Soma Bhattacharjee, Vice Principal Ms. Shifa Shaikh, Headmistress Ms. Najla Mohd Bukhari, coordinators, teachers, and parents.
The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of badges, sashes, and certificates upon the newly appointed office bearers, including Junior Head Boy Veer Chintan Sutaria, Junior Head Girl Rajvika Sethi, House Captains, Prefects, and Directors. The newly inducted council members pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school with sincerity and dedication. A symbolic flag handover ceremony by the outgoing council members reflected the spirit of continuity and responsible leadership. Choral and dance performances celebrating leadership added colour and vibrancy to the occasion.
The ceremony reaffirmed the school's commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and value-driven future leaders.
