Dubai: Emergency teams in Dubai have successfully managed an incident involving the Kuwaiti crude oil tanker, Al Salmi, following a deliberate Iranian drone attack on Tuesday. The vessel was targeted while at anchorage east of Dubai Port, leading to a fire that has since been extinguished.

According to a statement from the Dubai Government Media Office, there were no reported injuries or oil spills resulting from the strike.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation confirmed that the tanker was directly targeted in the attack. Local authorities remain on-site to assess the damage and ensure all necessary safety measures are in place.
