Doha, Qatar: On the sixth day of the combined weightlifting championships in Doha, Qatar's Ouissal Ikhlef delivered a remarkable performance, securing nine gold medals across three events at the Ezdan Palace Hotel. 

The competitions included the 10th Qatar International Weightlifting Cup 2025, the Arab Championships for Youth, Juniors and Seniors, and the West Asian Championships, all organized by the Qatar Weightlifting Federation.

Competing in the over 86kg category, Ikhlef swept all three gold medals in each championship with an impressive lift of 116kg in the snatch, 161kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 277kg. 

In the Qatar International Cup, she outperformed Thailand's Supachanen Khamheng, who won three silvers, and South Korea's Lee Hyun, who claimed three bronzes.

Ikhlef continued her winning streak in the Arab Championships, where she bested Algeria’s Amina Mamoun Yahya and Egypt’s Shams Mohamed Ahmed. She completed her golden sweep in the West Asian Championships, setting a new personal record in the clean and jerk with a lift of 161kg.
