Doha: A career
workshop organized as part of the Pravasi Welfare Upskilling Program provided
valuable guidance and practical insights for job seekers and professionals
aiming for career growth in today’s competitive job market.
The workshop was led
by Prathibha Balasubramanian, Director of Bright Consultancy, who shared
detailed information on identifying job opportunities across various sectors,
improving workplace performance, achieving career advancement, and developing
skills aligned with the evolving demands of the modern employment sector.
Participants gained
practical knowledge on resume preparation, interview techniques, professional
networking, personality development, and emerging trends in the job market. The
session also inspired young professionals and members of the Pravasi community
to strengthen their career prospects with confidence and clarity.
The second phase of
the workshop series, aimed at further empowering youth and expatriate
professionals, will be held on Friday, May 22.
The program was
inaugurated by R Chandramohan, State President of Pravasi Welfare. Vice
President Latha Krishna presided over the function. Sana Naseem, President of
Nadumuttam, delivered the welcome address. Program Convener Faiz Abdullah
welcomed the gathering, while Abida Zubair moderated the session.
Members of the Pravasi Welfare HRD Wing including Fathima Thasneem, Ahsana Kariyadan, Afeefa, Radia Razak, Shakeeb, and Shafi Moozhikkal coordinated and led the program activities successfully.
