Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced the suspension of the 10 Eidiya ATMs that were launched in the second week of March for the traditional Eidi practice during Eid Al Fitr.

The QCB revealed that total withdrawals from these machines surpassed QR182 million across ten different locations in Qatar. The ATMs experienced an unprecedented turnout during the festive season, allowing users to withdraw denominations of QR5, QR10, QR50, and QR100.

This initiative aimed to uphold Qatari culture and heritage by making the traditional practice of Eidi more accessible to the community.
